First Baptist Church is a come as you are church. We are a community of imperfect people who are doing life together and being transformed through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are imperfect people of all ages, single, married, divorced, widowed,  educated, uneducated, seekers, doubters, skeptics, strugglers, and fully convinced. We are a community of people who are at different stages of the Christian faith – people who are seeking faith in Jesus for the first time, people who are new to faith in Jesus, and people who have followed Jesus for decades. Whether you have had a relationship with God for your whole life or you’re not even sure God exists, we welcome you as you are. Bring your questions, doubts, fears, and hurts with you. 

We want to help you connect with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ and with people who are on this journey. By getting to know others who are seeking God, you can discover how you can know God personally and share a life-changing journey through a relationship with Jesus and the people of his church. We believe that lasting life change only happens in community with others and in relationship with Jesus.

We sing modern worship songs and classic hymns (often newly arranged) with a variety of instruments in the spirit of Colossians 3:16. Our Bible preaching and teaching applies the Bible to our daily life in the spirit of 2 Timothy 4:1-4. Most people attend in casual clothes, but please come in whatever is comfortable for you.
